आन्तरिम मन्त्रालयलाई उदृत गर्दै बीबीसीले जनाएको छ । स्थानीयका अनुसार धर्ती हल्लिएको महशुस भएको थियो भने गाडीहरुको अलार्म बजेको थियो ।
उल्कापिण्डको टुक्रा चेल्याबिन्स्क शहरबाट २ सय किलोमिटर उत्तरस्थित येकातरीनबर्गमा खसेको देखिएको एक प्रत्यक्षदर्शीले बताएको छ । स्थानीय सञ्चार माध्यमहरुका अनुसार जस्ता उद्योगको छतको ६ सय वर्गफीट ध्वस्त भएको छ ।
