CAN SofTech 2012 starts
The fifth edition of CAN SofTech 2012 has begun in the capital on
Thursday. Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav
inaugurated the event this morning.
The four-day event, organized by Computer Association of Nepal (CAN),
has its stated objective of showcasing new software solutions developed
in the country and making aware customers about the new services.
The event, being held at Direction Exhibition and Convention Centre,
targets to attract around 50,000 visitors, the organizer said.
The software fair features 51 stalls of 35 different companies from
within Nepal and abroad, with participating companies scheduled to
demonstrate their services.
Software solution providers, Internet service providers, IT colleges, among others, are participating in the event. |
