DHANGADHI: Seven Nepali workers were buried to death in Darma of Pithauragadh in the Indian state of Uttarakhanda on Sunday afternoon when a landslide struck the road construction site. Four other Nepalis were injured in the incident. Darchula District Police Office has identified the deceased as Mandhwaj Koli, 43, Bishnuram Bhul, 35, Shyamram Bhul, 32, Santoshram Lohar, 40, Ramiram Lohar, 30, Birendraram Soni, 25, and Jhupram Soni, 49. All were from Baitadi. The injured are undergoing treatment at a community health centre in Dharchula, India. Darchula Police Chief DSP Dev Bahadur Bogati said condition of the two injured is critical. The incident site is about 50 km north-west from the district headquarters.
