Seventeen youth and student associations affiliated to various political parties have announced further protests against the government.
The youth associations on Saturday said that they would not stop their agitation programs until the current Baburam Bhattarai-led government tenders its resignation. Youth associations have been agitation against the government demanding that the government step down for the formation of consensus government. They have also maintained that the government has lost its status after the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly.
The protest programmes include disrupting youth day celebration on Sunday, closing down educational institute with foreign names, stage rally against the government, picketing district administration offices across the country, among others.
